Mongolia welcomes three-millionth citizen

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The three-millionth citizen of Mongolia was born on January 24, in Dalanzadgad of Omnogovi aimag, informed Wednesday the chairman of the National Statistics Office Mr S.Mendsaikhan. This special citizen is a girl born to the family of E.Khatanbold, the father, and G.Azzaya, the mother. The news was uncovered at the meeting held on January 28 of the national working group in charge of identifying the three-millionth citizen of Mongolia and her age-mates, of welcoming and glorifying them. Present at the meeting, chaired by a head of the working group, the chief of Staff of the President’s Office P.Tsagaan, were the Minister of Health and Sports G.Shiilegdamba MP, an advisor to the President R.Bold, chairman of the National Statistics Office S.Mendsaikhan, director-general of the Mongolian National Broadcaster Ts.Oyundari, and head of the National Authority for Children I.Narantuya. The fact that twins were born right after the birth of the three-millionth citizen symbolized the further-growth of Mongolian population, emphasized the chair of the meeting Mr Tsagaan.
