NISS: 76.9% of youth are positive about Nomad Games

Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2018. /Kabar/. 76.9% of the interviewed youth are positive about the World Nomad Games, and consider it the main event of the year in Kyrgyzstan. The National Institute for Strategic Studies, within the framework of the M-Report project, implemented jointly with the UNICEF, carried out a sociological survey among the youth of Kyrgyzstan via SMS. The aim of the survey was to study the attitude of the youth towards the World Nomad Games. This sociological study involved 302 respondents, and it was conducted on September 4-10, 2018. In total, 76.9% of the interviewed youth positively commented on the World Nomad Games, and consider it the main event of the year in Kyrgyzstan. Of them, 57% of young people consider WNG a global-scale event that attracts tourists, and 19.9% ​​of the respondents say that games lift the spirit of the people. 19.5% of the young people negatively commented on the event. Among them, 12.6% believe that this is an unjustified waste of money. 6.3% of the respondents think that there are events in the country that are more important than the Nomad Games.
