NUMBER OF CRIMES INCREASES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a national level, 11 thousand and 445 crimes reported in the first five months of this year. It shows an increase of 642 crimes or 5.9% against the previous year. The increase in the number of crimes was largely attributable to the rises in crimes such as the crime against the right of ownership (358) and infliction of a bodily injury (332) compared to same period of the previous year. Due to the crimes, 4,201 people injured and 464 people died. The number of injured people rose by 514 or 13.9%, whereas the number of deaths causes by crimes declined by 17 people or 3.5% against the previous year.
