Provision of benefits to World Nomad Games participants discussed in Turkey

Provision of benefits to participants of the World Nomad Games and the delivery of cargo 200 to Kyrgyzstan from Turkey on a free of charge basis was discussed in Turkey. This became known during a meeting of Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul Lira Sydykova with representatives of Turkish Airlines - Director of Commercial Sales Department Mahmut Yayla and his deputy for the Central Asian market Tunzhay Eminogly. The meeting discussed issues of economic cooperation, as well as the role of Turkish Airlines to increase trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, the press service of the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan said Tuesday. In particular, Lira Sydykova noted that in 2021, the trade turnover between the two countries reached $736.1 million, and in order to ensure further growth and expansion of trade and economic cooperation in all areas of economic activity of the two countries proposed to increase the number of air cargo shipments. In addition, the sides discussed issues on the provision of preferential tariffs for participants of the World Nomadic Games in Iznik. Sydykova also proposed to consider the issue of delivery of cargo 200 to Kyrgyzstan at preferential tariffs or free of charge. Turkey is planning to host the World Nomad Games in Iznik in late September 2022 with the participation of ethno-sports athletes from 76 countries, including Kyrgyzstan. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to consider the issues raised and to continue further mutually beneficial cooperation.
