Turkey ready to support development of Kyrgyz economy

Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Energy and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Doskul Bekmurzayev met with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Shentop. The press service of the Kyrgyz Energy Ministry reported that the meeting took place as part of Bekmurzayev’s working visit to Turkey. The meeting discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of industry and technology. Minister of Energy and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Doskul Bekmurzaev noted that Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are strategic partners, and expressed hope that the agreement on cooperation in the field of industry will serve as a basis for increasing mutual trade. Mustafa Shentop noted the readiness of the Turkish side to support the development of the economy of Kyrgyzstan. Minister Bekmurzayev also met with Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez. The sides discussed cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector.
