Vietnam’s culture, history to be promoted in Germany

Berlin, November 17 (VNA) – An exhibition featuring the culture and history of Vietnam from the Stone Age to present will take place in Herne city, Germany’s Nordrhein-Westfalen State in the autumn of 2016. German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier has agreed to sponsor this event, according to Germany’s WAZ newspaper. The highlights of the event will be archeological items discovered at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, including those that have never been displayed outside the country. Therefore, it is considered the most comprehensive exhibition on Vietnam’s culture and archeology in Germany so far. After Herne city, the objects will be exhibited in Chemnitz of Sachsen State and Mannheim of Baden-Wurttemberg State in 2017.-VNA
