Vietnam War through Japanese eye

Tokyo, October 23 (VNA) – A photography exhibition titled “The Vietnam War and Okinawa Bases” of Japanese war photographer Ishikawa Bunyo will open at the Japan Newspaper Museum in the Japanese city of Yokohama on October 25. Ishikawa Bunyo, 76, organised the exhibition of 150 photographs featuring the war in Vietnam and US military bases in Okinawa, his native land. As part of the exhibition, talks and discussion will be held to convey the fierceness of war and the value of peace. The event lasts until December 21.-VNA
