Working visit of President Zhaparov to St. Petersburg completed

Bishkek, Dec. 29, 2021 . / Kabar /. A working visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Russia’s St. Petersburg completed on Tuesday, his press service said. As part of the trip, Zhaparov took part in a traditional informal meeting of leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Leaders discussed topical issues in the joint fight against the coronavirus pandemic, listened to experts' views on effective ways to overcome the problem, and held a discussion. The informal summit was attended by Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Russia Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nicol Pashinyan and First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Having completed his working trip, Sadyr Zhaparov returned to Bishkek today, Dec. 29.
