Young scientists from 9 countries gather in Moscow to discuss innovative technologies

MOSCOW, November 2. /TASS/. Young representatives from nine foreign states’ scientific and business communities discussed prospects and possibilities of innovative technologies in medicine, agriculture, energy and IT spheres. The first youth innovation and science forum of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) took place in Moscow on October 28-30 in the framework of New Generation program of the Russian Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). "The delegations came in Moscow from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, India, China, Brazil and South Africa," the Rossotrudnichestvo said, adding, "The delegates discussed the legislative base for the protection of intellectual property in the territories of BRICS and EAEU." "Youth involvement in scientific and innovative activities is a key aspect of international humanitarian relations," the statement said. "The New Generation program allows young specialists from different countries to meet on professional platforms in order to search effective ways for resolving the most pressing problems and discuss joint scientific and innovative initiatives." According to participants in the New Generation program, it was a unique experience for them. "We had great opportunity to exchange professional opinions with foreign counterparts," a forum member said. "We had a chance not only to get new acquaintances but also to attract investors to our projects." Read more
