Zhaparov hands over Battle Flag to military unit of National Security Committee

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov handed over the Battle Flag to the 64479 military unit of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) in honor of the 50th anniversary of its formation. The Kyrgyz leader congratulated the military on the 50th anniversary of the unit and presented the Battle Flag as a badge of honor that distinguished the unit for its military purpose, history and service, his press service said. Sadyr Zhaparov noted this military unit was originally created during the Soviet era to ensure communication with the higher authorities of the USSR, and was distinguished by its strict compliance with the requirements and its combat readiness. He emphasized the great responsibility entrusted to the military, because the main security agency of the country - the State Committee for National Security - is responsible for the professionalism and diligence of troops 64479.
