Minister of Defense of Kyrgyzstan takes part in Army-2023 international forum

Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2023 / Kabar /. Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic Baktybek Bekbolotov, at the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, took part in Army-2023 international military-technical forum.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, the forum was held from 14 to 16 August. The 11th Moscow Conference on International Security also took place these days.

As part of the military-technical forum, the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the new developments of the military-industrial complex of Russia and a number of other countries, whose production was also presented at the Army-2023 forum.

During the Moscow Conference on International Security, the head of the defense ministry of the republic took part in plenary sessions, where topical issues of global security were discussed.

At the same time, on the sidelines of the Moscow Conference, the Kyrgyz minister met with Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexander Fomin. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the military and military-technical fields.
