ˈMohammad Rasoulallahˈ military drill ends

Jask, Persian Gulf, Dec 31, IRNA- The six-day ˈMohammad Rasoulallahˈ (PBUH) military drill concluded in Oman Gulf in south of Iran on Wednesday. The Iranian Navy carried out its parade before President Hassan Rouhani today morning. The president was accompanied by a number of cabinet ministers as well as military commanders. He arrived in this southeastern province Wednesday morning. His visit to the province was aimed at inspecting the infrastructural plans ratified by the cabinet and to attend the ˈMohammad Rasoulallahˈ (PBUH) war games. The maneuver began on December 25 in a 2.2 million-square-kilometer area stretching from east of Hormuz Strait in southern Iran to southern parts of the Gulf of Aden. It was being participated by units from ground forces as well as Air Force fighters and Navy vessels. It aimed at improving rapid reaction of the Iranian armed forces. The maneuver carried a message of peace and friendship as well as restoration of peace and solidarity to the regional states./end
