‘Both Iran and West have changed approach to nuclear dispute’

TEHRAN,July 27(MNA) – Former Iranian diplomat Hamid Reza Asefi said both Iran and the West have changed their approaches towards the negotiations aimed at resolving a more than decade-long dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program. In an interview with the Shargh newspaper published on Saturday, Asefi said the Obama administration openly says it is committed to nuclear talks with Iran in order to achieve a tangible result and this shows that the U.S. is in need of such an agreement and that the West has not achieved a result out of sanctions and threats against Iran. He added that the situation both inside and outside Iran has changed over the past 10 years and this entailed a modification of approaches toward the nuclear row.
