Brig. Gen. Pourdastan attached great significance to the preparedness of the army’s units, saying “given the status quo in the region, we are not faced with a new wave of threats and proxy wars; as such, we must enhance the country’s power and capabilities in the battle grounds.” Colonel Naser Bohlouli, commander of the Army Psychological Operations, told reporters that one of the missions of the Ground Force during the war game is psychological operations which aim at reducing the morale of enemy forces and strengthening the morale of own ranks. In addition to the psychological operations, Bohlouli added, the Ground Force medical teams distributed free medical services to people.
