11th ASEM Summit commences

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 11th Summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) commenced at 9 am of July 15 in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian president and the Chair of the 11th ASEM Summit Ts.Elbegdorj gave opening remarks to the first meeting, after dedictaing a minute of silence for the victims of terrorist attack in Nice, France. The president said that Mongolia is honored to have Asian and European delegates at home and to play the same role that was played by Mongolia hundreds of years ago. The ASEM Summit participants will adopt Ulaanbaatar Declaration and a Chair's Statement. Present are, the honored guests such as Dmitry Medvedev, Russian PM, Angela Merkel, German Chancellor, Li Keqiang, China's Premier of State Council and Park Geun-Hye, S.Korean president.
