1st VP: Iran Ready To Transfer Expertise To Iraq

Tehran, March 13, IRNA - 1st Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said on Monday that Iran is ready to put its invaluable experiences in various fields at the disposal of the Iraqi nation. Rahimi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iraqi Minister of Communications Muhammad Tawfiq al-Allawi in Tehran on Monday. The Islamic Republic of Iran can help Iraq in many scientific fields such as training of its workforce in many fields, Rahimi said. He also called for expansion of cooperation between the two sides' private sectors. The Iraqi communication minister, for his part, referred to significant scientific achievements made by Iran in communications and space fields and said the pace of development in Iran is very remarkable and Iraq calls for active presence of Iranian companies in Iraq./end
