2,000 Iranian, Foreign Artists To Attend 3rd Intˈl Festival Of Resistance Art

Tehran, June 9, IRNA - Some 2,000 Iranian and foreign artists will take part in the Third International Festival of Resistance Art with over 5,500 artworks, said secretary of the festival. Habibollah Sadeqi added that the deadline for sending works to the festival has been extended until June 21. He further noted that foreign artists have so far submitted 1,400 artworks to the secretariat of the event, showing a considerable increase compared to the figure for the two earlier editions. The Third International Festival of Resistance Art seeking to promote the culture of resistance and values of Sacred Defense will be held in 12 categories including painting, miniature, calligraphy, poster designing, photography, caricature, animation and conceptual arts in December./end
