2nd Arabs-Iran conference kicks off in Beirut

Beirut, Jan 17, IRNA – The Arabs and Iran Second Conference started with the attendance of scores of elites and scholars from Iran and Arab countries on Wednesday in Beirut. The conference themed “Toward Common Future: Security, Stability and Cooperation” has been organized by Center for Lebanese Studies, Andishe Sazan-e Noor Institute, Institute of Political and International Studies (IPIS), the political and legal studies center of Lebanon University, Al Akhbar Newspaper and Al Mayadeen TV. The meeting aims to present the prospects for regional system and its future and to discuss ways to draw a roadmap for achieving a common view between Iran and Arab countries. Head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations Kamal Kharrazi and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi also attended the conference. The first round od the event was held in Beirut. IRNA-1378
