45 drug smugglers killed by Iranian forces in 6 months

TEHRAN,Sept.26(MNA) – Fourty-five drug smugglers have been killed by Iranian forces over the past six months, Ali Moayyedi, an anti-drug police official announced on Tuesday. He also announced that 221 tons of illicit drugs had been seized during the mentioned period. According to Moayyedi, 70 percent of the drugs had been seized in border areas.
