686 Candidates Register For Presidential Election

Tehran, May 12, IRNA – Interior Minister Mustafa Mohammad-Najjar said 686 candidates have registered for the 11th presidential election. He told reporters that 320 candidates registered on Saturday. Among candidates there are 30 women, he added. Registration for candidates for presidential election started on Tuesday May 7 and ended at 6 PM on Saturday May 11, 2013. The 11th presidential election will be held on June 14, 2013./end
