Abdullah bin Zayed, Foreign ministers discuss bilateral relations on side-lines of 70th session of United Nations General Assembly

NEW YORK, 1st October, 2015 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, has met with top international figures during the current opening session of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in multiple fields, including economic, investment, cultural and other concerns. Among those he met with included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, Minister of Foreign Affairs of El Salvador, Hugo Martinez, South Korean Foreign Minister, Yun Byung-Se, Senegalese Foreign Minister, Mankeur Ndiaye, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Salahuddin Rabbani and Iceland's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson. During the meetings, the ministers also reviewed and exchanged views on a number of issues of common concern, especially those on the agenda of the 70th session of United Nations General Assembly Sheikh Abdullah and Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson of Iceland signed an agreement regarding Air Transport Services Agreement between the two countries.
