Achievements Made to Greet Youth Congress

Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- Signal achievements have been made by young people of the DPRK, women workers in particular, to greet the 9th Congress of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League. Two young women carried out the work equivalent to their five years' quota at the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill which finished its yearly plan by August 23. Kim Jong Hyang, a participant in the congress, told KCNA that she wants to express her gratitude to supreme leader Kim Jong Un for glorifying the feats of young people on behalf of all the young employees of the mill who have carried out their daily quotas more than two times. Three weavers have done the work equivalent to their four year's assignments at the Sariwon Textile Mill. And several weavers carried out the work equivalent to their three or four years' quotas at the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill and Nyongbyon and Pakchon silk mills. Sim Un Hui, a women captain of a fishing vessel of the Tanchon Fishery Station, said: President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il highly praised virgin innovators of the former generation as Chollima standard-bearers and girls riding on galloping steeds. Now the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un puts forward us as Mallima standard-bearers. To repay the loving care shown the peerlessly great men, I will devote myself to building a socialist power. -0-
