Afghan Diplomat Praises Iranˈs Hospitality

Bushehr, March 6, IRNA – Afghan consul general to Iran Mohammad Zaher Norestani on Tuesday praised the Iranian people for the warm hospitality they accorded to Afghan nationals during their stay in Iran. Speaking to IRNA, he said since the victory of the Islamic Revolution and when the country was engaged in an imposed war and its ensuing problems, Iran was a good host for Afghan refugees. Iran and Afghanistan have cultural, religious, geographical, historical and lingual commonalties which help deepen relations between the two nations, he said./end
