Afghan Envoy: Terrorists Must Not Be Let Rule Afghanistan

Mashhad, Khorassan Razavi Prov., Feb 17, IRNA – Afghan Ambassador to Tehran, Nasir Ahmad Nour said on Saturday that today, the young generation of Afghanistan is duty-bound to undertake their countryˈs management and they should not once again let a handful of terrorists and blind-minded individuals dominate their country. Addressing a group of young immigrant Afghan refugees in Mashhad, Ahmad Nour said the Afghan nation had driven former Soviet aggressors out of their country after 10 years of war and that withdrawal of former Soviet troops coincided with the demise of the Soviet Union. He said the Afghan nation paid a heavy cost for its freedom so as to get rid of Soviet hegemony. He said Afghanistan has rich natural and underground resources and manpower and the countryˈs experiences should be used for development of the country and prosperity of its nation./end
