Afghanistan Should Not Be Left Alone In War On Terror

Kabul (BNA) The Afghan government emphasizes that it should not be left alone in war on terror because it is a threat to the region and the world and elimination of this threat is not duty of the Afghan government alone. In his interview with the media, the NSC advisor Mohammad Hanif Atmar said, neither Afghanistan has created Al-Qaeda, Daesh and other terror groups nor she have responsibility to fight them alone. The Afghan government has already singed BSA with the US based on which the US government is committed to guarantee the Afghan government against every foreign threat. The world has pledged not to leave Afghanistan alone in war on terror because it is not a threat to Afghanistan but to the whole world and if it is not prevented in Afghanistan it would subsequently influence and overshadow the world including central Asia. At the moment the terror groups have been divided into four separate groups. The first one has Afghani identity, the second one is connected to Pakistan Lashkar-e-Tayeba who are defending interests of Pakistan. The third group is affiliated with central Asia who are closely connected to Uzbek origin terror groups and others and want to revenge some of the regional countries. The fourth one is globle terrorism called Al-Qaeda and Daesh and all these groups are connected to each other and carry out subversive activities coordinately with each other. According to statement of US troops commander in Afghanistan Gen John Nikolson, over 80pc Daesh terrorists are members of TTP who are carrying out war in Afghanistan. Despite of that the world counties believe in Pakistan unfortunately and ask her to honestly contribute in war on terror and take practical steps in this direction. Russia, China and Pakistan have recently held a meeting in Moscow on Afghanistan security situation in which the representative of the Afghan government was not invited that shows the regional countries in order to rescue themselves resort the every means. But the afghan authorities say that war on terror requires regional cooperation and globle coordination and if even one regional country doesn’t contribute sincerely, this problem may increase more and Al-Qaeda and Daesh would penetrate into central Asia. The three participating countries in Moscow meeting expressed serious concern on increasing activities of Daesh in Afghanistan but the Afghan MoD called this concern baseless and said that Daesh has sustained heavy blows in all parts of Afghanistan and they would not allow any terror group to create sanctuary in Afghanistan. The Afghan experts don’t consider this meeting useful for Afghanistan because Pakistan has been supporting terrorist groups and 80 pc Daesh militants in Afghanistan are Pakistani nationals. If Pakistan honestly wants to prevent Daesh and other armed insurgent groups, she should first take practical steps against these groups and don’t allow them to hide in Pakistan or have sanctuaries. It is said that now Pakistan has started another game. And she wants to rescue itself from the imminent universal isolation and show to the world that she is cooperating in war on terror. As previously Pakistan cheated the western countries, this time she wants to deceive Russia and China and enter global competitions through this meeting. In their words, speeches and slogans, the Pakistan authorities claim that peace and stability in Afghanistan is peace and stability in the region and Pakistan but in practice Pakistani rulers have not taken even small steps in war in terror and for restoration of security and peace in Afghanistan. The Afghan government asks the US president-elect not to forget Afghanistan and take more firm steps in war on terror and put an end to this devastating war and Afghanistan achieve reliable peace and security.
