Afkham: Iran, G5+1 To Continue With Negotiations At Level Of Deputy Ministers

Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said on Tuesday that negotiations between Iran and Group 5+1 will go ahead at level of deputy ministers. She said that the expert-level talks are very complicated, adding that the two sides have discussed very complicated issues and could successfully conclude the negotiations to a satisfactory outcome in the future The expert-level talks between Iran and G5+1 were successful, she said adding that talks should continue at a higher level which is at level of deputy ministers. Referring to the upcoming meeting between Irans Deputy Foreign Minister and a member of nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi with Ashtons deputy Helga Schmid, she said that they will review remaining issues at expert level talks and resolve the minor differences. She said that if Araqchis negotiations with Schmid worked out with success, a timetable would be set to implement the nuclear deal struck in Geneva on November 24./end
