Ahmadinejad: Expansion Of Iran-Tatarstan Ties Benefit Both Nations

Tehran, Dec 19, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that expansion of relations between Iran and Tatarstan would favor both nations. Talking with his Tatar counterpart Rustam Minnikhanov here on Sunday, President Ahmadinejad said there are vast grounds for cooperation between the two countries. He said the Islamic Republic of Iran sees no limit on broadening of ties with Tatarstan. Minnikhanov, for his part, termed Iran’s industrial progress as “amazing”, saying his country favors promotion of cooperation with Iran. Tatarstan seeks expansion of cooperation with Iran in all spheres, in the scientific, cultural, oil, gas and industries domains in particular./end
