Ahmadinejad Heralds Significance Of Humanitarian Values To Be Prevailed Over Global Community

Tehran, May 5, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday heralded significance of humanitarian values to be prevailed over the global community vis-a-vis the current state of materialistic approach in the world order. He said that he believes the world is now on the verge of momentous changes and the era of neglecting humanitarian values is over. The president made the remarks in a conference on ˈStudying the role of women and the youth in implementing goals of Non-Aligned Movement.ˈ Those who left the humanitarian thoughts to oblivion have focused on their sinister goals by bullying, weapons and occupation, he said. Their days are numbered and they have no option as the world is on the verge of new change, he said. All should be united and help each other to attain the humanitarian goals, said the president. NAM should be regarded as an ideal opportunity to forge unity and solidarity among world nations and help them build a much better world, he said. President Ahmadinejad said that women have played significant role throughout the history. Given significant role of the youth, he said the youth are manifestation of hope, vibrancy and aspiration of nations and lead societies towards peaks of success. Glory of humanity is against trampling upon of others rights, he said adding that in an ideal society all should endeavor to implement humanitarian values to lead the international community to freedom and justice. Criticizing the current global status, he said a few countries impose their wishes on others, he said adding that the world nations seek justice, peace, welfare, and dignity which will be obtained through solidarity among world nations, he said./end
