Ahmadinejad: Iran Never Adopts Offensive Approaches

Tehran, Oct 3, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that the noble Iranian nation never adopts offensive approach. Briefing domestic and foreign reporters, he referred to recent threats made by prime minister of the Zionist regime at the UN and said that's the outcome of current global administration and management. They have brought a group of uncultured Zionists to power and let them pose threats to others, he said. "The global management should be amended otherwise such problems will persist." The duty of the Iranian nation is clear, he said adding that the great Iranian nation never attacks others but has been a very good defender, a defender who has disappointed all aggressors through giving deadly response to the invaders. "Where is Saddam Hussein, the Iranian nation are not concerned about these threats. Iranians will never leave the scene," he said. The enemies have waged psychological warfare but some uninformed people act in coordination with the psychological warfare masterminded by the enemies, he said. "My analysis is that the US administration has reached the conclusion that they should control the Zionist hardliners," he said. He advised them to mind their own business not to lose ground through adventurism policies. The Americans have claimed that they will put more political pressure and toughen sanctions on Iran, asked one reporter and the president replied "Our reaction is clear, we will stand shoulder to shoulder by the Iranian nation to defend their rights as well as national sovereignty." Their plots have already been thwarted but if they tried the plots once again, there is no problem, he said./end
