Air Defense Commander Warns Threatening States Against Their Own Threats

Tehran, Sept 7, IRNA - Commander of the Khatam ul-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier Farzad Esmaeli Saturday warned the “threatening states to be careful as their threats would harm them too.” The commander made the remarks while commenting on recent threats made by certain western states and the Zionist regime against Syria. Speaking to IRNA, Brigadier Esmaeli said such threats have turned the Middle East region into a explosives depot. Referring to the latest statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, he said Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that anyone who fan the fire of threats in the region would be burnt in that fire. The commander stressed that the words of the Supreme Leader were “strongly influential and determining.” Brigadier Esmaili said the Khatam ul-Anbia Air Defense Base is “fully prepared and monitors any move in the region.” He added that Iran’s air defense forces would give crushing respond to any possible threats./end
