Air Force Officials, Personnel, Meet With S. Leader

Tehran, Feb 9, IRNA – Iranian Air Force commanders and personnel met with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei here on Saturday. The meeting took place on the occasion of the 35th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran which toppled the US puppet regime of Mohammadreza Pahlavi. The Iranian Air Force together with the Army personnel played a key role in the ultimate triumph of nation against the dictatorial regime. This day in 1979, Iranian army and air force joined the massive waves of people protesting and fighting the Pahlavid regime, accelerating the process of its collapse.
