Al-Qaeda Activist Arrested In Eastern Pakistan

Islamabad, Sept 8, IRNA – Pakistani sensitive organization raided a University hostel in eastern city of Lahore and arrested a young foreigner Al-Qaida commander, local media reported on Saturday. According to reports the Al-Qaeda commander had landed in the city for leading a ‘Fidayee Mission’, who was provided shelter by the students of a religious party’s subsidiary organization. Reports said that the accused having expertise in subversive activities earlier conducted in the tribal areas came to Lahore for leading some such deadly missions in the city, but before he could cause any damage he was arrested and shifted to some unknown place. Media reports quoting sources said that the University hostel management didn’t co-operate with law enforcing agency during the raid./end
