Algerian president invited to attend NAM summit in Tehran

TEHRAN,July 1(MNA) - Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika was invited to attend the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which is scheduled to be held in Tehran from August 26 to 31. In an interview with the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency published on Saturday, the Iranian ambassador to Algiers, Mahmoud Mohammadi, said that the letter inviting Bouteflika to the summit had been delivered to him during a visit by Vice President Mohammad Reza Mir-Tajeddini to Algeria in early June.
