All Syrian forces should take part in National Dialogue Congress - Lavrov

BAKU, November 20. /TASS/. The Syrian National Dialogue Congress should involve as many Syrian forces as possible, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Monday. "As many Syrian forces as possible should be invited to participate in the Congress, its participants should represent every strata of the country’s society," he said. According to the Russian top diplomat, while making preparations for the Congress, Moscow is guided by "the decisions made by the United Nations Security Council, which have been many times reiterated at the Geneva talks and included in documents adopted at the Astana meetings." "All these documents stipulate an inclusive intra-Syrian dialogue involving the government and a broad range of opposition groups.
