Amal Al Qubaisi meets Russian industry minister

MOSCOW, 3rd June, 2016 (WAM) – A visiting delegation from the Federal National Council (FNC), headed by Speaker Dr. Amal Abdullah al Qubaisi, met here on Wednesday with the Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral co-operation in the economic, investment, commercial and tourism sectors. The Russian minister welcomed the FNC delegation and stressed the importance of strengthening commercial, industrial and economic relations. He also said that Russia was looking forward to seeing future investment opportunities for Emirati and Russian business sectors. Dr. Al Qubaisi detailed the policies and strategies adopted by the UAE to enhance its competitive capabilities, infrastructure and legislative frameworks related to economy and business. She said the UAE ranks among the world's top 15 most competitive economies, and added that the country is well prepared, under the wise leadership's vision, for the post-oil era.
