Ambassador of China gets info on Tavan tolgoi

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Mongolia M.Enkhsaikhan received Tuesday the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Mr Wang Xiaolong to discuss with him the Tavan Tolgoi project. The sides also focused on the New Silk Road and Steppe Road initiatives that aim at connecting Asia and Europe. As for Tavan Tolgoi project, the Ambassador said the Chinese side is actively studying the proposal put by Mongolia, "a response will be given soon, and we will cooperate". He also hopes that Russia, China and Mongolia will forward the implementations of the "New Silk Road" and the "Steppe Road" initiatives. "We are confident that realistic achievements will be gained in these initiatives before the Mongolia-Russia-China trilateral meeting that will run this July in Russia," said Mr Xiaolong.
