Ambassador: UK does not recognize so-called Nagorno-Karabakh republic

Baku, June 3, AZERTAC The United Kingdom does not recognize the so-called Nagorno-Karabakh republic and has no any contacts with this regime. British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Irfan Siddiq made the remarks Tuesday, commenting on the question that the leader of Nagorno-Karabakh regime plans to visit the United Kingdom. He said every person wishing to visit the UK must present a passport and visa-related documents. “The aforementioned persons can visit the UK, but no meetings are planned to be held with the British government,” the Ambassador emphaszied.
