Ambassadors of some countries present credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elvegdorj Wednesday received the diplomatic credentials from the accredited to Mongolia Ambassadors of Lithuania, Latvia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia. After the ceremony, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania Ms Ina Marciulionyte congratulated Mongolia on intensive development and hoped that Mongolia will successfully host the 11th ASEM Summit. Mr Elbegdorj said his Office and the the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will support the Ambassador in her mission and wished her a success. The Ambassador of Latvia to Mongolia Mr Maris Selga expressed a satisfaction with being appointed the Ambassador to Mongolia and promised to make all efforts to upgrade the Mongolia-Latvia relationship. To this the President said he is happy with a plan of his Latvian colleague to participate in the ASEM Summit and wished the newly appointed Ambassador a success. He is satisfied with being appointed to Mongolia, said the Ambassador of Marshall Islands Mr Tomas D Kijiner and stressed that he will focus on boosting of the relations and cooperation between our countries. Mr Elbegdorj replied that Mongolia and the Republic of Marshall Islands signed a joint statement on the establishment of diplomatic relations during his visit to Japan May 24 of 2015. The Ambassador of the Federated States of Micronesia Mr Karlson D.Apis also expressed his willingness to bring the Mongolia-Micronesia relations into a new level. Mr Elbegdorj wished the Ambassadors big successes.
