Anadolu Agency opens a regional office in Balkans

SARAJEVO (A.A) - March 11, 2012 - Anadolu Agency (AA) opened a regional office in Balkans on Sunday. The office based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will broadcast news stories in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian as of Sunday. Bakir Izzetbegovich, head of the Presidential Council of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag and AA Executive Board President and Director General Kemal Ozturk attended the inauguration of the regional office of AA. Parliamentarians, mayors, religious officials, press members and NGOs participated in the inauguration. A photograph exhibition on "Turkey's beauties through AA's objectives" will be opened at the Turkish Culture Center in Sarajevo on the sidelines of the inauguration of the regional office. AA Director General Kemal Ozturk will sign a protocol with the executives of leading TV channels, newspapers and internet news portals of the country and region.  (EÖ)
