Analyst Calls For Equality Of Rights To Ensure Global Justice

Islamabad, May 11, IRNA -- A senior Pakistani analyst on Thursday called for equality of rights among world nations in a bid to ensure global justice. Talking to IRNA, Orya Maqbool Jan said that western countries have to quit the policy of double standards to bring stability in the world. He said unfortunately there is hegemony of five powers on United Nations (UN) in the form of veto power. He added that Japan is contributing about 38 percent of the United Nations budget, yet they have no say in the international organization. The analyst went on to say that those countries which posses nuclear weapons control United Nations. ˈUN has transformed into a colony of US,ˈ said Orya Maqbool Jan. He said that US is not signatory to bills of the UN on child and women rights and establishment of international court of justice. ˈHow they can guarantee global justice without signing such important laws,ˈ he asked. The analyst said that every country in the world should be given equal rights. ˈIf France has the veto power then Iran should also be given veto power,ˈ said the columnist. He said that oppressed nations should take benefit from the experience of those nations which are fighting the imperialist forces. ˈIran is an excellent example of resistance against imperialist forces,” said the analyst. Orya Maqbool Jan added that US has been defeated in wars since 1901. “Their aggressive policies are putting the world peace at stake,” said the analyst. He said that weak nations have to stand united against the dominance of imperialist forces. The intellectual expressing his opinion said that a game of corporate culture is going on in the world. “Western countries are using media and money to capture the resources of weak states,ˈ he noted. The columnist said the democratic system of the west is bound by the corporate culture. He said that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on various occasions in the UN has stressed the need for improving justice situation in world. The analyst said that Iranian President has also warned the world that imperialist forces are trying to capture the resources of weak countries.
