Anti-Islam Film Condemned In Bangalore

New Delhi, Sept 23, IRNA – To protest the anti-Islam US film, Quds Freedom Movement, Bangalore chapter conducted “Shaan-e Mustafa Conference” in Bangalore, capital city of South Indian State of Karnataka. The conference was attended by eminent speakers and religious scholars from both the Shia and Sunni sects of the city. The speaker, while condemning the movie, said the blasphemous movie 'Innocence of Muslims' produced by Anti Islamic American and Zionist fanatics aimed at insulting the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and creating communal tension between Christians and Muslims. They gave a common call that unity amongst different sects of Islam is mandatory to effectively counter such moves of offense by enemies of Islam. The Sunni speakers were all praised for the leadership role assumed by Iran in condemning this vulgar act patronized by the Zionists and Neo cons and denounced the pathetic apathy by the impotent leaders of the so-called Islamic kingdoms. Meanwhile, the historic fatwa by the late Imam Khomeini against Rushdie was endorsed and praised by Dr. Taha Mateen. Moulana Taqi Raza Abedi stressed that the Muslims should not hesitate to sacrifice even their lives when it comes to defending the honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). More than 500 believers attended the conference. At the end of the event, the angry protestors set ablaze US and Zionist flags and chanted slogans against Washington and Tel Aviv./end
