Araqchi: Iran At Forefront Of New Global Arrangement

Tehran, March 11, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbass Araqchi said in Tehran on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran pioneers new global arrangement with the Muslim World as the centerpiece of the world community. ˈThe Islamic awakening should couple with Islamic enlightment,ˈ Araqchi told a Conference on Role of the Muslim World in Geometry of World Power. He said that the Islamic Revolution has played a determining role in the new world geometry and structure of the world power. He said that in fact the new world geometry started to take shape with Revolution of Iranian people and since then different social movements and political approaches have appeared in the Muslim World. Araqchi said developments in the Muslim World suggest that all speak of new geometry in the Middle East and the Islamic states. He said that regional powers have emerged in the course of the current developments, adding that what is observed in regional developments indicate a major shift in power balance, instances of which are observed in Egypt, Tunisia and Iraq./end
