Araqchi: Iran To Speed Up Settlement Of Issues With IAEA

Tehran, Oct 12, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbass Araqchi said on Saturday that Iran is ready to expedite settlement of issues with the International Atomic Energy Agency in the context of mutual cooperation. Speaking to Russian Ambassador Levan Jagarian prior to bilateral and trilateral nuclear talks in Vienna, Araqchi said Russian delegation, especially Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Riyabkov, had positive and constructive role in the nuclear talks and set forth creative and helpful proposals to facilitate ways to reach final accord. He also lauded China and Russia's important and grave role in the nuclear talks. He said that the Russian and Chinese governments helped reach a comprehensive agreement acceptable to the both sides. He underlined constant and strong contacts with the six governments, especially tight contacts among the Iranian, Russian and Chinese delegations. The Russian diplomat for his part hoped for reaching comprehensive agreement, saying his country is determined for any help and coordination to reach the goal before the deadline./end
