Archbishop: Revolution Celebrations Create Fear In Enemies

Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan prov, Feb 4, IRNA - The Archbishop of Chaldean Catholic Church of Orumiyeh and Salmas Thomas Meram said the celebration of the victory anniversary of the Islamic revolution in Iran creates fear in the hearts of country’s enemies. He made the remarks in a ceremony here in northwestern country Saturday morning to mark the 33rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The Archbishop said that revolutionary people of Iran are still following the path of the Late Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and make sacrifices to safeguard the values of the revolution. He also said that it was a source of honor for his community to be part of the advocates of the Islamic Revolution. He stressed that Chaldean Catholics were always ready to defend the 1979 Revolution./end
