Tehran, April 19, IRNA – Iranian Armed Forces are self-sufficient in production of military harwares, Defense Minister Brigadier General Hussein Dehghan said on Friday. Talking to IRNA on the sidelines of National Army Day ceremony in Tehran, he noted that Iranian Armed Forces are one of the most advanced and best equipped forces in the world. Despite sanctions, Iran enjoys the ability to supply the country’s Armed Forces with their needed military equipment without foreign assistance, the defense minister added. He underlined that Iranian army is ready to respond to any type of aggression. Iran marked National Army Day with nationwide parades being held around the country./end
