Armenian FM Urges Resolve Of Iran Nuclear Issue Through Diplomacy

Moscow / IRNA - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday called for settling the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program through diplomatic negotiations. Speaking to journalists in Yerevan, Nalbandian stressed that Armenia backs peaceful solution to Iran nuclear issue. The Yerevan's stance on Iran's peaceful nuclear program was announced during President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to Armenia in December 2011, he said. President Ahmadinejad held talks with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan on December 23 during which he emphasized the legitimate right of all nations to pursue peaceful nuclear energy./end
