Army Ready To Thwart All Types Of Threats: Statement

Tehran, Sept 21, IRNA – Army is ready to thwart all types of threats, the Army said in a statement released on Sunday on the occasion of the Sacred Defense Week. The Sacred Defense Week begins on Shahrivar 31 (September 22 this year), the day Iraq invaded Iran and began the imposed war on the country in 1980. The Army statement added that the Iranian Armed Forces are capable of defending the country against any type of threats. The fear of the world powers from Iran's military productions and equipment shows Iran's Armed Forces' superiority and high deterrence power. Unity and sympathy is concrete among the Armed Forces of Iran more than ever and this as well as the leadership and highly esteemed measures of the Commander-in-Chief (Ayatollah Khamenei) and indigenized capabilities have taken the opportunity from the enemies to make an aggression against Iran./end
