Ashton, Larijani Confer

Tehran, March 9, IRNA – Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani and visiting European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton discussed issues of mutual interests here Sunday. Ashton, who arrived in the Iranian capital Tehran, Saturday evening, has so far held talks with President Hassan Rouhani and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif. She is visiting Tehran at an invitation of the foreign minister. This is her first visit to Tehran since 2008.
