Assyrian Bishop: Islamic Revolution, A Blessing For Country

Orumiyeh, W. Azerbaijan, Feb 2, IRNA – The Assyrian, Chaldean Catholic Church Bishop of Orumiyeh Thomas Mirm, by commemorating anniversary of the late Imam Khomeini return to the country, said that the Islamic Revolution is a blessing for the whole country. In a meeting between representatives of religious minorities here with representative of the Supreme Leader in West Azerbaijan province and Orumiyeh Friday Prayers Leader, Bishop Mirm said that Iranˈs great nation has close cooperation with each other in all fields. He said victory of the Islamic Revolution was a source of blessing for the whole country, adding that since establishment of the Islamic system, level of cooperation has increased noticeably. He also felicitated appointment of Hojjatol-e-slam Seyed Mahdi Qoreyshi as new representative of the Supreme Leader in the West Azerbaijan Province.
