Austrian Deputy FM: Iran Most Stable Country In Mideast

Vienna, Nov 6, IRNA – Austria’s Deputy Foreign Minister Reinhold Lupakta underlined that Iran is the most stable in the Middle East region, and said that Iran’s nuclear standoff with the West will possibly be resolved soon. Upon his return from Iran to France on Tuesday, the Austrian deputy foreign minister told the Vienna-based Standard newspaper that he had constructive talks with the senior Iranian officials, and said, “I am hopeful about the effectiveness of Iran-Group 5+1 talks.” During his three-day visit to Tehran, Lupakta conferred with Iranian Foreign Minister and Head of Iran’s Team of Negotiators Mohammad Javad Zarif. The Austrian deputy foreign minister underlined that Iran and the Group 5+1 can hold their upcoming meeting in Vienna./end
